[00:00:00] Welcome to your 2023 work recap.

[00:00:02] This year, you've been to 127 sync meetings.

[00:00:06] You spent 56 minutes searching for files and almost missed eight deadlines.

[00:00:10] Yipe.

[00:00:12] 2024 can and should sound different.

[00:00:15] With Monday.com, you can work together easily,

[00:00:17] collaborate and share data, files, and updates.

[00:00:20] So all work happens in one place and everyone's on the same page.

[00:00:24] Go to Monday.com or renewable energy and much much more. Today's episode is going to be a quick one because I am very busy every single day this week and next week I am busy all the way up into the point when I go to bed.

[00:01:43] Today is Wednesday at 8 30. They ran around and got some really good CES content for us. And I don't want to steal their thunder. So I have some really basic CES news mostly about concept vehicles. And then we're going to talk about VW and Gili's new car, which is really interesting.

[00:03:02] So let's go ahead and jump into our CES news. Next up, we have the poorly named Sony and Honda EV collaboration. And when I say poorly named, it's called Afilah. Sony and Honda showed this car off last year. This year, they've added AI and gaming to the car, which, you know, you got everybody added AI to everything this year.

[00:04:21] And gaming seems like a natural with Sony and, you know, the PlayStation and all that stuff.

[00:05:21] that I'm forgetting at the moment. And there was just kind of like line art of these things,

[00:05:24] but it was kind of cool, kind of fun.

[00:05:26] I don't know if this is gonna ever come out.

[00:05:30] But yeah, it's nice.

[00:05:32] And I will say one of the trends that I saw last year,

[00:05:40] and I'm seeing again this year,

[00:05:41] is they're trying to make the car the new living room.

[00:05:44] And I don't know if the car needs to be a living room.

[00:05:47] It needs to be comfortable, fit in the back of the bigger delivery van. They also mentioned that they were going to do AI. Honestly, my first thought on this was this looks very much like canoe. And again, Steve Hanley also thought it looked like something canoe was doing because he mentioned it again in a clean technical article. So I'll put links in the show notes if you're interested in that.

[00:07:02] Oh, and you know, we have one more and Allison and Steve are probably going to

[00:08:03] I figured Volkswagen was selling like 100,000, maybe 150,000 EVs a year.

[00:08:05] So pretty, pretty good.

[00:08:08] Volkswagen's also cutting EV prices in Europe

[00:08:11] to help boost sales there.

[00:08:14] So if you're in Europe and you're looking

[00:08:16] for an electric vehicle,

[00:08:18] please consider a Volkswagen.

[00:08:20] And speaking of cutting prices,

[00:08:22] here in the United States,

[00:08:23] Hyundai has a new lease deal on the IONIQ 5.

[00:08:27] So Hyundai sent out a message Try. You'll never succeed. Let's see here, final story. Good news if you live in China and you're looking for an about 665 kilometers or 413 miles. That's dubious. I would imagine that it's going to get less than that through testing but maybe

[00:11:00] who knows on that 76 kilowatt hour battery. Right now this is a China only vehicle. We don't know
